Job description: Job Description :Job Title: Senior Mechanical EngineerJob DescriptionSupervise and manage day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities across the plant/facility.Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical breakdowns to ensure smooth operations.Lead mechanical installation, commissioning, and modification projects.Maintain and update maintenance records, logs, and reports.Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.Coordinate with the electrical and production departments for smooth plant operations.Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate with the purchase team for timely procurement.Train and mentor junior mechanical staff and technicians.Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or repair jobs.Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Proven experience in maintenance and operations.

• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Should have a good knowledge in Conveyor Belt

• Ability to work in Kharagpur, West Bengal.

Expected salary: Rs.420000 per year
