Job description: Hi,We are hiring Manager EC Shed for our client Leading Company located in Madurai.Work Location:EC shed Kolumankondan ( UDUMALLAIPETTAI)Candidate Looking for: – Manager EC ShedExperience: – ABOVE 10 YEARSA successful EC shed manager on a poultry farm should have a strong understanding ofpoultry management, environmental control systems, and biosecurity practices. Theywill oversee daily operations, ensure optimal bird health, manage staff, and maintain theintegrity of the EC shed. Their responsibilities also include monitoring key performanceindicators, adhering to regulations, and collaborating with other teams to ensure farmefficiency.Roles and Responsibilities:-Monitoring and maintaining optimal temperature, humidity, and ventilation withinthe poultry shed using various systems like fans, curtains, and cooling pads andairflowEnsuring proper sanitation and hygiene practices to prevent disease outbreaksand maintain a clean environment.Implementing and maintaining biosecurity protocols to prevent the introductionof diseases and pathogens.Oversee all aspects of daily operations within the EC shed, including feeding,watering, temperature and humidity control, and ventilation. Address anyissues.Monitor bird health, identify any issues, and implement appropriate correctiveactions. This includes observing bird behavior, assessing body weight, andconducting disease prevention measures.Supervise and train shed staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable in their rolesand adhere to safety protocols.Ensure the shed and its equipment is well-maintained and functional.Ensuring that all equipment, such as feeders, drinkers, and ventilation systems,are functioning correctly.Maintain accurate records of bird health, feed consumption, and mortality rates.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to poultryfarming.Maintaining the physical structure of the shed, including repairs to walls, floors,and equipment.Maintaining records of feed, medication, and other supplies used in the poultryshed.Ensuring that adequate supplies are available at all times.Reporting any concerns or issues to the farm manager or other relevantpersonnel..Skills and Qualifications:Experience in poultry farming, particularly in managing poultry sheds and environmentalcontrol systems.Knowledge of biosecurity protocols and disease prevention measures.Ability to operate and maintain poultry shed equipment and systems.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially if supervising staff.Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to handle physical lab our and operate farm equipment.Diploma or equivalent is typically required, with an associate’s degree or higher inanimal science or a related field being beneficialAGE ABOVE 30 YEARSQUALIFICATION. DIPLOMA OR ANY DEGREEEXPERIENCE 10 YEARS AND ABOVEMALE CANDIDATES ONLYACCOMMODATION WILL BE PROVIDEDSALARY RANGE AROUND RS 40000/ TO 50000/

Expected salary: Rs.600000 per year
