Job description: We are urgently seeking a passionate and dynamic TGT/PGT English Teacher to join a well-regarded CBSE school in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a love for English language and literature, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for students.Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in English Language and Literature to students, primarily focusing on Middle (TGT) or Senior Secondary (PGT) grades as per expertise and school requirements, following the CBSE curriculum.

• Design and implement effective lesson plans, classroom activities, assignments, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles.

• Evaluate student progress through regular assessments, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and a love for reading and writing.

• Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and overall academic excellence.

• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

• Education (TGT): Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.

• Education (PGT): Master’s Degree in English and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.

• Experience: Previous teaching experience in a CBSE school is highly preferred. (Specific years of experience will be assessed based on TGT/PGT level and interview).
