Job title: HR Executive (Statutory Compliance)

Job description:
- Managing all day-to-day HR administration tasks; ensuring that all employee and HR records are accurate and up to date
- Assisting with the end-to-end recruitment process
- Creating employee training materials under the guidance of the learning and development manager
- Assisting with monthly payroll and resolving payment issues
- Preparing job offer emails and employment offer contracts
- Supporting the development of performance review processes and reward schemes
- Taking full responsibility for all annual leave and attendance records
- Inducting new staff and overseeing probationary periods
Statutory Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with statutory laws such as the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), Employees State Insurance (ESI), Gratuity, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus Act, and Minimum Wages Act.
- Stay updated with any changes in labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns and payments (EPF, ESI, PT, etc.).
- Keep track of statutory deadlines and ensure compliance is met on time.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain and update employee records related to statutory compliance.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of employee-related records, including salary records, attendance, leave, and payroll data, in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain statutory registers (e.g., PF, ESI, Leave, etc.).
Audit & Reporting:
- Coordinate and assist in internal and external audits for statutory compliance.
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports for HR and management regarding compliance status.
- Prepare documentation for compliance audits and statutory inspections.
Employee Benefits Management:
- Handle queries related to employee benefits under statutory provisions like EPF, ESI, etc.
- Ensure that the employee benefits program complies with statutory guidelines.
- Support in managing the Gratuity Fund and other employee welfare programs.
Compliance Training & Awareness:
- Conduct training sessions for employees and management regarding statutory compliance and labor laws.
- Create awareness on statutory changes and its impact on business operations.
Regulatory Liaison:
- Act as the point of contact with government departments (e.g., Provident Fund, ESI, Labour Department) and handle any queries or inspections.
- Address notices from statutory bodies and resolve discrepancies, if any.
Policy and Procedure Development:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with the companys internal policies as well as external legal requirements.
Payroll Compliance:
- Ensure accurate payroll processing in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Ensure that statutory deductions (like PF, ESI, PT, etc.) are deducted correctly from employee salaries and remitted on time.
Employee Grievance Handling:
- Address any employee concerns related to statutory compliance or benefits, and resolve issues in collaboration with the HR team.
Expected salary: Rs.500000 per year
