Job description: As an HR Associate you will be working at the intersection of HR and legal practice management, supporting the Head HR in driving recruitment and talent acquisition for the firm. Your core responsibility will be to manage the hiring pipeline through Zoho Recruit, coordinate candidate interactions, and ensure smooth execution of recruitment processes for associates, interns, and support staff.Key Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment lifecycle: job postings, CV screening, shortlisting, and interview scheduling.
- Operate and maintain Zoho Recruit: upload and update candidate profiles, track pipeline stages, and ensure data hygiene.
- Coordinate with practice leads and partners on manpower requirements.
- Draft and share interview invites, feedback requests, and communication with candidates.
- Maintain candidate evaluation records, interview notes, and rating consistency.
- Ensure timely acknowledgements and closure communication to candidates.
- Build and maintain an updated database of talent pools (interns, associates, specialists).
- Assist in employer branding initiatives such as internship programs, law school outreach, and LinkedIn postings related to hiring.
- Support the Head HR in standardizing recruitment SOPs and automation.
Requirements
- MBA in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- 1-2 years of experience in recruitment/talent acquisition (law firm/professional services preferred).
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and comfort with ATS tools (Zoho Recruit experience is a strong plus).
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and ownership over recruitment deliverables.
