Key Responsibilities:

• Applies professional knowledge, experienced judgement, and independently designing complex projects.

• Adequate knowledge in Plumbing design – Hydraulic; Water balancing calculations; Pump Head Calculations; Water tank sizing; Septic tank sizing; Sump pit sizing; Central water heater calculations. Pipe sizing – Soil, Waste, & Vent pipes, Storm water; Rainwater storage capacity.

Selection of Booster pumps, submersible pumps, Hot & Cold-water system.

• In-depth knowledge in IPC International plumbing codes and practices, Familiar to American practice codes is added advantage.

• Adequate knowledge in Fire Protection System Design – Sprinkler Piping, Standpipe Design, Fire Tank sizing, FM 200, Foam Calculations,

• In-depth knowledge in NFPA codes & standard practices

• Well conversant with estimation for RFP’s.

• Responsible in planning, scheduling, coordinating the technical and management requirements.

• Effective communication & coordination in multi discipline projects.

• Mentor – Guiding, training, knowledge, and skill development of Mechanical engineering staff.

​Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized university with minimum of 5+ years of experience in consultant design, managing complex building services MEP Design BIM projects – like high rise buildings, commercial & residential, Infrastructure.

• Master’s degree holders are added preference

• Effective management of team members for the projects.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with international clients and contractors is mandatory.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT-MEP, Navisworks is an added advantage.

Expected salary: Rs.700000 per year
