Job description: Job Description:This is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) activities within the organization/Vendor. The Supplier Quality Engineer/Specialist will assist in the evaluation, development, and monitoring of suppliers to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards and requirements. This role involves working closely with both internal teams (such as procurement, engineering, and manufacturing) and external suppliers to drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and product quality.Responsibilities:Support the development and implementation of supplier quality plans and procedures.Participate in supplier audits to evaluate their quality management systems, manufacturing processes, and adherence to regulatory requirements.Support the investigation of supplier-related quality issues, including non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints, by collecting data, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.Assist in the review of supplier documentation such as Inspection reports, Validation reports control plans, process flow diagrams, and inspection reports, to ensure compliance with specifications.Support the communication of quality requirements and expectations to suppliers, and provide technical assistance and training as needed.Assist in the maintenance of supplier quality records and documentation, such as audit reports, supplier scorecards, and corrective action plans.Participate in cross-functional teams to address supplier-related quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in supplier quality management.Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and quality standards.Qualifications:ITI / Diploma – Mechanical0-2 years of experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, or a related role.Basic understanding of quality management principles and techniques, GD&T, statistical process control (SPC).Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control methods.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Auto CAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Key Skills:Quality AssuranceRoot Cause AnalysisCorrective ActionSummary of Key Points:This job description is for an entry-level Supplier Quality Engineer/Specialist role.The role involves investigating, approving, rejecting, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining quality records.Qualifications include a relevant ITI / Diploma – Mechanical, 0-2 years of experience, and a understanding of quality management principles.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
